All beyond the cloud
To believe and trust
Beyond reasonable doubt
We long to have it all
We long to be truly happy
We long not just to survive, but to be in luxury
As days pass by, and birthdays marked
We know we are close
We are close to the finish line
To the line it all began
The line which demands so many requirements
As tiring as it may seem
We still have the urge to make it to the line
To be able to finally say ‘I made it!’
How lovely would it be to say those words
But then I ask, at what cost would I ‘make it’
And then I realised I already did
I have crossed so many finish lines and this would be like the rest
